Dehilton Cruz, 50 years old, thirty of them dedicated to the Hang Gliding sport, is a professional instructor with more than 16 thousand flights in the skies of Rio de Janeiro and other regions of Brazil. In the 1980’s he began practicing Hang Gliding, in the very early spread of the sport in the country and a few years after Stephan Dunoyer de Segonzac‘s epic flight in the Corcovado Mountain.

DeHilton is in a loving family man and very fond of nature-related extreme sports.

He has devoted much of his life to improve in the sport, to professionalize and participate in the Brazilian Hang Glide Championship for several years. Since then, he has been a professional instructor accredited by CBVL , Brazilian Confederation of Hang Gliding, institution that regulates the sport in Brazil.

He was the first pilot of instructional tandem flight to work with Concierges Association of major Hotels in Brazil.
